Founded in 2014, an idea popped in our heads. With Brian’s coding background, and Lee’s artistic vigor and memory bank of useless videogame knowledge, we decided to put it to use. With no prior experience in game development, we soon came to realize that our initial idea was too grand - it would need a 3D engine. Being our first game, the thought of it all seemed too daunting.
Thus, Day One came to be. We settled for 2D. But we didn’t want to make just another 2D game - and we didn’t want it to feel like just another mobile game. No swiping.
No auto-runs. No in-app purchases. It’s a game about gaming. Powered by Unity - for ease of future ports - Day One is only the beginning.
Each month will see new content added to Day One.
Further down the road, we’ll unleash our original idea, among many more.
We’re glad you’ve taken interest in our project’s journey. Grab a seat(or an Android device) and enjoy the ride.
